Welcome, I’m so Happy You’re Here!

Hi, I’m Annica and homemaking is my Passion!

Cultivating beauty at home is an art.

For the last seven years, I have been studying and learning ways to create a beautiful lifestyle for my family.

Together with my husband, we have worked to make a peaceful and prosperous home environment for our children.

Ultimately though, we put our faith in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ who in His loving kindness, has blessed our lives beyond measure.

I am a wife and stay-at-home mom of three precious, little darling girls.

About 6 years ago, I began my stay-at-home journey when I gave birth to identical twin girls.

Where it all Began

My homemaking skills began way before I gave birth to my twin daughters.

The little, undeveloped, homemaking bud sprang up within me when I was a teenager.

I absolutely loved decorating my bedroom, painting the walls with small murals, constantly moving furniture around, and hunting for unique vintage pieces at the thrift shops with my mom.

Where I’ve Gathered Homemaking Inspiration

I’d have to say that my dearest Mumzy, as I like to call her, is truly my inspiration for all things home decor.

She has a gorgeous 1912 Craftsman home built with lots of character and incredible bones.

I say it’s her home because she has made sure to brand every square inch of the house with her taste.

Sorry, dad.

Speaking of dear old dad, he has inspired me in the kitchen department.

He goes by his chef name “Loko Ono”, that’ll give you a sense of his being right there.

Part Latino, part Japanese (at heart), and part loco.

Where I Call Home

I currently live in Southern California and spend the summers at our Southern Oregon Coast home.

My husband and I have created three backyard gardens in three different homes.

I’ve designed romantic garden beds and planted many a fruit tree only for us to uproot and move to another home.

We are currently getting ready to create a new garden in our new SoCal home with a small orchard, I hope you’ll join my email list to get the latest updates on that!

Homemaking is my Calling

Life truly began when I met my husband.

Before him, I went to college and became a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.

I thought I had reached my pinnacle there but my real occupation, the highest occupation, in my opinion, was when I became a homemaker.

This website is a love letter to all who have been given the highest undertaking; in making a home.
